Jackson Modern – an Architecture Tour with Jennifer Baughn

Mississippi Museum of Art, Yates Room to gather before boarding the Fondren Express Trolley

Jackson was a city on the move in the booming period after World War II, and its young, Modernist architects put their stamp on its new high-rise office buildings and suburban centers. Join Jennifer Baughn, Architectural Historian at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, to get out in the city and take a closer look at this exciting time in Jackson's architectural history. Guests will gather for light refreshments in the Yates Room at the Museum before the tour and then take a luxury bus on a guided tour including glimpses inside at some of the stops.

Cost: $45 ticket/ 15% off for Members. Tickets include admission to exhibition.
