Figure Drawing with Jerrod Partridge

This ten week adult figure drawing class, part of The Museum School, is led by Mississippi artist Jerrod Partridge. Using live models and artistic exercises derived from traditional academic modes of drawings, participants hone their observational skills and techniques. Partridge’s personalized teaching style and one-on-one instruction makes this class suitable for a broad range of ability levels. The skills taught and honed are fundamental parts of the artistic repertoire for all artists, professional and novice alike. Space is very limited.

Materials that students will need to purchase:

-18 x 24 pad of newsprint

-18 x 24 pad of nicer drawing paper

- a range of graphite pencils

- sharpener

- eraser

- long thin metal knitting needle
